Project 322, designed by Paolo Volpis, is a 2,300 square foot steel home in Hermosa Beach, CA. The client was originally considering tilt up concrete but quickly determined that concrete did not offer the exterior appearance they were looking for, and would take too long to construct. EcoSteel is providing a prefabricated steel kit of parts to the job site to meet this client’s aggressive construction timeline.

As design was not finalized, EcoSteel’s 3D Revit modeling provided assistance so the client could see in detail what the final product would look like virtually. With cantilevered areas inside and out, large spans of glass walls, and a quick and efficient prefab approach, this client will soon be soaking up rays and gazing at the pacific ocean in their new modern steel prefab home.
